Questions people ask
Who can see what I write?
Everything starts with the setting you choose: only you, your family, or public. You can change it anytime, or set a date when something becomes visible.
What happens to my letters if I pass away?
Letters you mark "after I'm gone" stay sealed. When your family reports a passing, you get time to say you're still here. After that, the letters go to the people you chose.
Is the Archivist a real person?
No. He's a guide built into Archivida. He asks questions and keeps things organized, and nobody reads your private entries.
How do I get an invite?
Fill in the short request form at the top or bottom of this page. We read every request, and once yours is approved you'll get an email with a private link to sign up. If someone in your family is already a member, they can invite you directly from their Family page.
Can I get my stories out?
Yes. Download your whole archive, with photos and recordings, any time from Settings.
